Michelle J. Auerbach, DO

Dr. Michelle J. Auerbach is a native of Watertown, NY. She Graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Neuroscience and she went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, in 2009. Medical residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology led Dr. Auerbach to Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Auerbach’s New York ties brought her back to central New York when she joined AWM in 2013 and is a partner/owner. She is a board certified OB-GYN by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Auerbach currently serves as the chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Dr. Auerbach’s passionate care for women has included healthcare ranging from contraception management, obstetric care, surgical procedures, to managing and caring for perimenopausal and menopausal women. Though Dr. Auerbach has enjoyed caring for women in all stages of life, her practice is now limited to Gynecology with a focus on perimenopausal/menopausal women as well as minimally invasive surgery. She performs both robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. In addition to her interest in nutrition and exercise, Dr. Auerbach enjoys an active lifestyle including running, biking, strength training, skiing, and hiking. She resides in Marcellus, New York with her husband and two children.

Catherine W. Bailey, MD, MPH

Dr. Catherine Bailey is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has been proudly serving the medical community of CNY since 2011. Born and raised in the region, Dr. Bailey brings a deeply rooted commitment to local women’s health. She combines advanced clinical expertise with a warm, open approach to care. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Michigan, Dr. Bailey returned home for her medical education. She completed her medical degree and residency training in Obgyn at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Dr. Bailey provides healthcare to women in all stages of life from adolescents, to women who wish to start or grow a family, to women nearing or in menopause. Her interests include infertility, high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive Robotic surgery, and menopausal medicine. Dr. Bailey believes that the foundation of excellent medicine is open communication. She takes great pride in having frank, honest, and collaborative conversations with her patients, ensuring they feel empowered and informed about their healthcare decisions. When not at work, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two daughters. |
Birx Nolan, MD

Dr. Nolan is a native of Syracuse, NY. She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Rochester. She earned her medical degree and completed residency training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Nolan's professional interests include minimally invasive gynecology, adolescent medicine, and high-risk obstetrics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on Otisco Lake, attending Syracuse University athletics, yoga, and being with her husband and two sons.
