Michelle J. Auerbach, DO

Michelle J. Auerbach, DO

Dr. Michelle J. Auerbach is a native of Watertown, NY. She Graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Neuroscience and she went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, in 2009. Medical residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology led Dr. Auerbach to Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Auerbach’s New York ties brought her back to central New York when she joined AWM in 2013 and is a partner/owner.

She is a board certified OB-GYN by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Auerbach currently serves as the chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

 Dr. Auerbach’s passionate care for women has included healthcare ranging from contraception management, obstetric care, surgical procedures, to managing and caring for perimenopausal and menopausal women. Though Dr. Auerbach has enjoyed caring for women in all stages of life, her practice is now limited to Gynecology with a focus on perimenopausal/menopausal women as well as minimally invasive surgery. She performs both robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.

In addition to her interest in nutrition and exercise, Dr. Auerbach enjoys an active lifestyle including running, biking, strength training, skiing, and hiking. She resides in Marcellus, New York with her husband and two children.

 

 

Catherine W. Bailey, MD, MPH

Dr. Bailey was born and raised in Central New York and has been serving the medical community here in Syracuse for the past seven years.  After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Michigan, Dr. Bailey returned home for her medical education.  She completed her medical degree and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University.  Dr. Bailey is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bailey provides healthcare to women in all stages of life from adolescents, to women who wish to start and grow a family, to women nearing or in menopause.  Her interests include high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, contraceptive management, cervical dysplasia and menopausal medicine.  She takes great pride in talking to women about their healthcare needs.  When not at work Dr. Bailey enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two young daughters.

 

Birx Nolan, MD

Birx Nolan, MD

Dr. Nolan is a native of Syracuse, NY.  She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Rochester.  She earned her medical degree and completed residency training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Nolan's professional interests include minimally invasive gynecology, adolescent medicine, and high-risk obstetrics.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time on Otisco Lake, attending Syracuse University athletics, yoga, and being with her husband and two sons.
